The new enterprise license enables users to request licenses from within ACR, so no emails with app ID to our support department. Each customer appoints license admins who can approve or deny the requests.
The enterprise licensing will make it much easier for end-users to enable ACR for their Mendix apps, and our support team has more time available to solve customer problems.
In ACR, you get a license for your company based on variables like the number of applications or developers. Applications are added to the license using the Project ID. Once users have registered (Authorized the Mendix SSO login and connected the Mendix Profile API), a company can invite them to the license. Before a user can see their Mendix application in the CLEVR tooling, they must meet the following requirements:
- The user must have proper access rights (access to the application model) to the application in Mendix Sprintr.
- The application must be added to a company enterprise license.
- The user must be a member of the same company enterprise license as the application.
Only then will users have access to their Mendix application in the CLEVR tooling. Because of this method, companies have complete control over who sees what project in the CLEVR tooling. They decide the access rights in Mendix and decide whether that user is part of the license in the CLEVR tooling.
Important
You can only invite users that have already registered in ACR.
You can only add users via their Mendix account email adress.
